Maddy Rasmusen

Maddy is a producer, director, and creator. She is best known for her creation of the sports segment Between the LYnes on BYUtv. She loves all things sports. She is a 3-time letter winner in basketball and golf. She was recruited for both sports in college and ended up playing basketball for Brigham Young University.

Marty Haws

As a sports parent, Marty helped his kids love and respect their sport, while playing at a very high level. His oldest son Tyler was an all-American in college and the all-time leading scorer (basketball) in BYU history before playing five-years professionally. His next son TJ is the all-time leader at BYU (basketball) in consecutive games started (133), number two all-time in assists, and number seven in scoring, before becoming an Academic All-American his senior year. TJ plays professionally in Europe. Marty’s daughter Gabriella is a sophomore playing volleyball at Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa Idaho.

Mike Smith

Michael is best known for his work with the Los Angeles Clippers. He was the television analyst for all Clippers’ telecasts, a position he held for 20 years. Of the 30 local television teams in the NBA, Michael was ranked the #1 analyst in 2013. He also received an Emmy for his work. He currently works for the Utah Jazz broadcasting for the last 3 years. Mike and Rod Hundley are the only two ever to play in the NBA and do radio “play-by-play” for the NBA.

Jim Detjen

Jim is our fearless creative producer, editor, and bench warmer. As a parent, he has raised a baller, a swimmer, and a rock star. Within the sports industry, Jim has played an important role in two national powerhouse basketball programs, Lone Peak High School and Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant, Utah (NIBC), earning four straight GEICO HS Basketball National Championship berths in 2018 and 2019, 2020, 2021, respectively. Currently, Jim is the President & CEO of Katapult Sport & Entertainment Group, as well as the Interim GM & Director of Basketball for Real Salt Lake Academy (RSL) in Herriman, Utah.
